The world is called the Faux World.
The whole world is a creation of the Grand Imitator (Copycat) after he saw the real world. Adoring its history and stories while also being confused by its inconsistencies, he thus recreated the world from scratch with his own twists on the story. Some of the events diverging from the real world, like name differences are done intentionally by the Imitator probably out of shame.
The Imitator created the World of Chaos, and split himself into pieces with their own identities and domains. The World of Chaos would later formed into the multiple planes, like the material plane, the mental plane, the astral plane and the divine plane.
The first being to wake up is the Spirit of the World Anima, which is the most mechanical and the original wielder of all authorities. It remembered all of the Imitator's programming and it ran the world and the miniature universe from its creation to the time of the first Gods being awakened.
The miniature universe of the Faux World differs from our universe in that it is smaller and that its supernatural power is more evident. The stars in the sky are not as numerous, as they are only a few galaxies. The field of astronomy would thus be smaller than that of our own.
The earliest of sentients, the woken up pieces of the Imitator in the time of Anima were born with supernatural powers and also gained the knowledge of the esoteric from the World indirectly. They used these knowledge for divination and gain more powers, where at some critical point they went through Mass Apotheosis and gained authorities. The mightiest of the three is the Sky Father, the Earth Mother, and the Chaos Dragon. The Chaos Dragon, in its greedy pursuit of power, chose the pathway of chaos. Upon awakening, he destablized the world, causing Anima to become inactive and plunging the world into chaos. Most of life were liquidated and became the Primeval Sea and Clay.
As the Sky Father was the strongest of the opposing pathway, he fought the Chaos Dragon to save the world. Their fight was legendary, as they jumped from continent to continent. The Sky Father's battle with the Chaos Dragon would repeat countless times in the future, whether through their own bodies, avatars, or champions. These clashes, called Chaoskampf, cause creation to occur.
Meanwhile, the Earth Mother, in her effort in saving the life of creatures, began turning the Clay and Sea back into animals and humans. However, due to Chaotic influence, some of the animals and humans mutated, creating the multitude of fantastical and supernatural species.
During these times of Chaos, the Gods and Spirits noticed that the more they used their authority, the weaker they become.
The Great Lord of Heaven, in his plan to become the Chief God of the World, used his Holy Spirit and put a copy of himself in Mary, causing the Messiah to be born. After the Messiah was betrayed, killed and revived, he underwent a change that separated himself from the Father and he gained partial control of his Father's domain. Ascending, he caused the Breaking of Heaven that destroyed the Father's plan of world domination. Thus, he split the Great Lord into three.
The Universal Church believes in the Triune Lord, the split three Persons knowing that are the same Lord in essence. However, they believed that the split was always present, even though the truth is that the Lord was one, then he split when the Son of Heaven ascended, merged and dissociated. The three are the Heavenly Father, the Son of Heaven, and the Heaven Spirit.
In the current era, Anima has been slowly waking up and reclaiming many of its authorities. That's why the Gods and spirits have mostly retreated to the Astral Plane and the Divine Plane, and the physical laws of the universe has normalized.
